Self-test e-book

Which stage is your business in?

Start, Grow or Scale: a self-test for business owners, with first steps you can take on your own this month.

Cover of the e-book "Start, Grow or Scale: which stage is your business in?" by Roya Sayadi

A lot of good business advice fails for one simple reason: it was written for a different stage. What helps someone with an idea and no clients yet is almost the opposite of what helps someone with a full calendar and no time left.

This guide, Start, Grow or Scale: which stage is your business in?, does one thing. It helps you find your stage, and then it gives you a few concrete things to do about it, starting this month. Fill in your first name and email, and I'll send you a short email to confirm your address. When you click "Confirm and get the guide", your guide opens right away, and you join my email list. You can leave the list at any time with one click, and keep the guide.

What is inside

  • The self-test. 18 questions about your offer and clients, your sales and your time, and your systems, numbers and direction. Answer for your business as it is today, add up your points, and the key shows your stage and the part of your business that needs attention first.

  • The three stages. For Start, Grow and Scale: the signs that you are there, the typical traps, and what to focus on next, each with an invented example to show the pattern.

  • First steps for each stage. Five concrete steps for your stage that you can do on your own this month. Pick one, finish it, then pick the next.

  • Your plan for this month. One page to write down your stage, the first step you will take, when it is in your calendar, and what "done" looks like.

  • Fill it in on your computer, or print it. Tick your answers and type your scores and your plan on screen, or print the guide and use a pen.

The last pages explain plainly how my three programs work, in case you would like help afterward. The steps in the guide work on their own, without them.

Who it is for

The guide is for business owners at any stage, for example if:

  • Start: you have an idea or a young business, and you are not sure what to work on first;

  • Grow: you have paying clients, and almost everything still runs through you;

  • Scale: your business is established, and you want to know what to improve next and where it should stand in five years.

Not sure which one is you? That is what the test is for.

The guide is general information for business owners. It is not legal, financial or tax advice, and it is not a promise of results.
